Joint Conference with Mayo Clinic
August 10 â€" 12, 2011
Instead of a mini-conference at Reno, this year we are jointly organizing a healthcare operations conference with the Mayo Clinic. This conference will take place in Rochester, Minnesota, August 10 -12, 2011. This is a unique opportunity for Operations Management researchers to network with healthcare professionals and observe healthcare operation management principles being put to efficient use every day at the Mayo Clinic.
The Health Care Operations Research/Systems Engineering Symposium includes tutorials, applied research presentations, a tour of the Mayo Clinic and dedicated time for poster presentations. Poster session submissions are now being accepted â€" please submit your poster abstract here : http://precis.preciscentral.com/User/UserLogin.asp?Action=New&EventID=821fa74b&bhcp=1.
June 15, 2011 is the deadline for poster submissions. Please note there will be awards for poster presentations and all poster submissions will be reviewed before acceptance.
This is a great opportunity to present and get feedback on your healthcare research projects, and to network with healthcare researchers and healthcare professionals from the Mayo Clinic and across the country.
POMS members get a discounted conference fee of $299 (versus $449 for others).
